Numerical Modelling

In the last few decades the use of numerical modelling techniques to understand circulation and pollutant transport in coastal and riverine systems has expanded dramatically. Numerical models have become powerful tools in environmental impact assessment and are routinely used to estimate the consequences of power plants, municipal and industrial waste discharges, dredging, marine development, land use changes and intermittent toxic releases to water systems.

MarCon is currently a leading service provider of numerical modelling for riverine, estuarine, coastal or marine modelling. We work with both academics and engineering firms to deliver results for government agencies, commercial, and research projects.
